September 3rd-5th is the 59th Annual Sausalito Art Festival which is held at Marinship Park from 10am-6pm Saturday and Sunday and 10-am-5pm on Labor Day.  It is one of the biggest art festivals in the US and this year features over 275 artists.  Besides all the amazing artwork, there is tons of good food, beer and wine gardens and live music.  The musical line-up this year includes Kenny Loggins, World Class Rockers which features musicians from Lynard Skynard, Journey, Santana, Boston, Toto and Steppenwolf, The Smithereens, The Romantics, Wonderbread 5 and many more.  It is one of my favorite festivals of the year as you can just sit back and eat, drink and listen to great music while sitting on the pier enjoying the views the Bay. Get your ticket in advance and save $5.  If you are lucky you may even witness a double worm going down on one of the piers…
